Description:
Using a hydraulic jack and slide system, Underwood's highly skilled transporters moved, offloaded, delivered and placed a 200,000 pound transformer for Indianapolis Power & Light Company at the 56th Street Substation. Underwood provides jack and slide services when the use of a crane is not possible. Jack and slide is safe, controlled and efficient.

This transformer sat down inside a trailer for hauling. Trained crews jack the heavy unit up and then slide it safely into place on the prepared foundation.
